Diploma thesis focuses on the development of parking building with commercial premises Rychtářka in Plzeň, which is realized in the form of public and private sector partnership. The thesis deals with effective application of project management methods in light of the general contractor Hermosa Parking Plzeň a.s. Information and knowledge gained in the theoretical part of the thesis are then used in the practical part for the design of project management methodics on development project Rychtářka. The outcome of practical part of the thesis is project management methodic, which should help to secure the optimal solution for complex structured process that leads to the realization of parking building Rychtářka and the compliance with all the specific characteristics of development projects.

The thesis describes the process of construction, manager's work and management risks of the project. It also describes organizational structure of the company and project management process. The work also includes an analysis of the developer market in Brno, focusing mainly on logistics, office and residential development. The thesis tracks construction of new flats and property market development as well.

It is all followed by application of specific business plan including the assessment of investment efficiency.

The project comes out of basic theoretical experience. The opening part of the work concerns the project analysis, which is made by fixed methods. There is an elaboration of a proposed procedure for a successful implementation of the project in the last part including financial plan and its economic evaluation.

This thesis defines the theoretical basis essential for building a business plan and simultaneously encompasses the building of a real business plan, which will be focused on the creation of a new company - KK-TECH s.r.o., which will offer complex cleaning services. The key aspect of the thesis is market analysis, which the company will enter, and a marketing and financial plan. I will use primarily data, which have been obtained while studying, and also data, which have been obtained thanks to working in said field.

Design of a new production line

This diploma thesis deals with the project of implementing a production line in a selected company dealing with the recycling of plastic waste and the production of rPET flakes as a secondary raw material for the production of plastic products. First, it deals with the description of the current state and the production process in the company, including the layout of the equipment, and then defines the requirements for the project by the management of the company and individual shareholders of the company. Defining the requirements for the project and at the same time the method of obtaining key information took place on the basis of in-depth interviews with the interested parties of this project, while a pilot design of the layout of the machinery was created, including a description of the technology and a flowchart of the required production process. The main content of the design part is the creation of a proposal for a possible implementation of the production line using a network diagram using the PERT method, which indicates that the duration of the project was calculated to be 106.6 days. Together with the network diagram of the project, an analysis and proposals for managing the risks of this project were prepared. At the end of the draft chapter, a financial analysis of the project's payback period was carried out, as the condition of a payback period of 3-5 years must be met in order for the project to be approved by the shareholders, which this project fulfilled in all three expected progress scenarios.
